Transfering calibre library to another computer

I'm back with another question.

Originally, I had calibre installed on my desktop computer, but for some reason, it was very resource intensive, and it made my fan go nuts every time I started it. So, I uninstalled it from my desktop and installed it on my netbook. I haven't had any problems with it since, and have been working on getting the settings tweaked according to my needs.

The only thing that's problematic is the small screen size of my netbook, and I'd like to try installing calibre on my desktop again. I'd like to keep the settings I made. Is that possible, or will I have to copy and paste every change I made to the preferences, and recreate custom columns for the desktop installation?

While I often read the calibre forum, I try to avoid asking questions there since I have... issues with calibre and have on occasion ranted about them. Some users don't take that criticism well, since it's a free program that is extremely good at what it was built to do, and has some very advanced features, and I have admittedly lost my temper a few times. My dealings with calibre have often involved facepalming, headdesking, and uninstalling. Yet I always go back to it since it really does what it's built for extremely well. I still sometimes want to pull my hair out when I have to deal with it.

I will try searching again to see if someone's tried to do something like this before.
