PDF print size

I've downloaded some stories in PDF  (SPN fanfic by Big Pink) and the print comes up microscopic in my Sony.  I can click it bigger, but it doesn't go too high.  Is there someway to enlarge the font on the PDF doc before I download it???

I did get them from her website. The one I was trying to read would go to larger type for me, then suddenly I'd get tiny print on a different page and that would NOT enlarge. Grrrr. I'll go DL the ones you have in .rtf

And... 8x11 eReaders? Ugh. I like the smaller ones much better, have always preferred paperbacks to hardback books!
