Awesome use of the Calibre Generate Covers plugin

Covers for Fanfiction Lovers I'm sort of hoping someone who is into Avengers and Teen Wolf participate in the thread and share their covers.

In the meantime, this post is most helpful for White Collar and Supernatural fans. :)

Very cool. I'd never heard of this plugin until your post. Really intrigued. Usually I just use fanart for fanfic ebook covers, but these look so slick I kinda want to try it out.

I also use fan art for covers except so many stories have no art! I like the idea of having a host of generic fandom covers to add the story title and author name to where it'll look good. I've tried my own hand at it and I sucked! So I kind of gave up and continue to use the generic brown book cover.

Thanks, I'm gonna have to try this out. When I've added covers in Calibre before, they never carry over to my ereader.

I think once you add the cover you need to reconvert the ebook to embed the cover into the epub so it will carry over to your ereader. Or you can use the new Plugin "Polish Books" to update the cover. Apparently it embeds the cover for you. I haven't tried it out yet but on Mobile Read people say it works.

Ah. I assumed that since it was in the metadata form, that it would be added just like the metadata and automatically be included in the book. I'll have to try that. Thanks.

I had the same assumption the first time I attached a cover to an ebook!
