I don't have any experience with it personally, but when I was thinking of getting an e-reader, it was a choice between Jetbook and Astak EZRead. I went with Astak in the end, but I remember people praising Jetbook on the MobileRead forums in the "What to buy" thread. Ectaco has its own subforum on MR (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=205), so you can check what the users say.
