Hello!
Do any of you guys own a Sony pocket 350?
I been looking at ebook readers, since my eyes are not a big fan of me reading too much on the computer. I really like the design of the Sony pocket 350 and I like that it has a touch screen.
I went to my local electronic store recently because I wanted to try it out before buying. Sadly it was behind a 'glass screen' and I could only try and hold it in my hand, not turn it on.
It was much smaller than I thought, but my question is, how is it to read on? is the screen to small or is it like a small paperback? Do you regret buying yours?
I really want it, but I would love to hear from someone who has read fanfic on it before, since thats the only thing I'm going to be reading on it.
Thanks! :)

Date: 2011-01-24 11:41 pm (UTC)The DE does have a touch screen as well, and it has a larger screen and wi-fi. But as I recall, the Pocket was able to enlarge text to a near similar size, meaning that the screen size was not a problem in reading, and the touch function works very nicely.
He said that if the device is cold (as in a cold environment) the touch function takes a little longer to respond, but otherwise he hasn't had any problems with it, and there are also buttons for some basic functions.
He has loaded his own texts onto it rather than purchased eBooks and recommends bypassing the Sony software and either use Calibre or load stuff directly from one's computer hard-drive.
