My friend just got a sony ereader--same one I have. Is it possible to somehow copy over my library to her reader without having to do it story by story via emails and docs? Thanks!
Should work fine for non-DRM stuff, different instructions depending on what software you're using to organize your library and what operating system you run on your computers. If it's the Sony software: check the help section on the Sony ebookstore site for info about how to back up your library -- that'll give you a folder full of everything you've got on your computer, to do with as you will. If you use Calibre, same sort of thing applies, you should be able to just copy the folder it keeps your library in.
If this isn't what you're asking about or it doesn't help, let us know!
I don't think there is a way to connect the readers directly. You will have to either copy the library files to her computer, hook up her reader to your computer, or load everything to an SD card and she can put it in.
What I do with both of my Sony readers is use Calibre to manage my library of ebooks and when I want to add stories to the other reader I just hook it up and select everything and transfer to device.
